Instructor Spotlight!
Medical Institute of Palm Beach is illuminating Ms. Ramona Atiles, Medical Instructor, for the month of July 2025. One of her favorite quotes has been the inspiration on how she teaches her class… “I am told. I forget. I see, I remember. I do, I understand.”
Ms. Ramona’s passion for “edutaining (education & entertaining)” and taking care of a person’s needs started while she was still in high school. Her career started as a nurse’s aide and quickly transitioned to a practical nurse working in various settings that included hospitals, mega centers, clinics, and private office settings.
She relocated to another state, which led to her teaching career in healthcare. Ramona has been in healthcare education for 30+ years and feels that one of her greatest accomplishments is when the students graduate and follow their dreams in higher education.
Another one of her accomplishments is that she has received an award from American Medical Technicians (AMT) for preparing students to successfully take and pass their Medical Assisting and/or Phlebotomy exams. Thank you, Ms. Ramona, for all that you do!
